For Honor Season 3, Grudge and Glory, Trailer Revealed

It looks like more of what people have stopped caring about!

I've heard it said that For Honor is like the Battleborn of multiplayer arena fighters, which... well, it's an apt analogy, even if it's a bit extreme. Despite claims that the game's community is still large and healthy, players have been complaining that it hasn't been. What's more, the game is finally getting dedicated servers, but the move seems to be coming too little too late, as reaction to the news was fairly tame. For Honor appears to be a sinking ship, and in their latest attempt to save themselves from going down, Ubisoft has now revealed a trailer for Season 3.

Let's give it a look, shall we?

"Grudge and Glory" is set to bring new heroes, new maps, and new items to the game, which is nice, but also exactly the same as their last update and even that wasn't enough to save the game, especially since the "new heroes" are effectively paid DLC (sitting at 15,000 steel to unlock 'normally').

But hey, speaking of new heroes, here's the two new champs being added to the roster:

Highlander (Viking [Class]) Stoic and guarded, Highlanders are patient heroes capable of switching between two different fighting forms. Their defensive form allows for counter-attacking and trading blows, while their offensive form empowers them to unleash their deadliest attacks at the expense of being able to block. Wielding the heaviest and longest sword in the game, the Highlanders massive claymore gives them a deadly combination of strength and range.

Gladiator (Knight [Class]) Wielding a trident and shield, the Gladiator has made a living off of killing for sport, they now bring their ruthlessness and skill to war. Fighters by trade, they are brash and boastful; equipped with little armor, they can punch their opponents to create separation to set up attacks and stuns. Their larger stamina meter and reduced cool down times make them extremely agile and dangerous opponents.

If you have a season pass, you get these two babies a week earlier than everyone else, and for free. Otherwise you have to pay the aforementioned chunk of steel in order to give them a go.

Regardless, for those who have strayed from the game, do these additions seem like enough to bring you back to the fray? Personally, I might, if only to justify the 60 bucks I spent on the damn game, but it would be a lie to claim I'm excited.

"Grudge and Glory" will arrive August 15th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
