Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location Revealed

You know, to be perfectly honest, I’m not surprised. I’m not even disappointed anymore. There was a time when I had assumed--hoped, even--that Scott Cawthon had some artistic integrity left. A desire to actually create art , show some respect, and not just cash on his success. But he proved me wrong, time and time again, and it’s gotten to the point now where I’m just kind of numb to it. Five Nights at Freddy’s is no longer the lil’ indie that could, it’s a worldwide hit, and just like any worldwide hit, it’s going to get attention, sequels, and of course: spinoffs.

Hey, speaking of spinoffs:



Called “Sister Location”, this latest addition to the FNAF family includes a brand new lady animatronic, who is also a clown--because if you’re going to one-up animatronics, there’s no better way to do it than with animatronic clowns. I think that might actually be the scariest thing in the universe, so, good job on that, Mr. Cawthon.

We still don’t know much about the game, but we do know it’s set to come out this fall.. Which probably means we’ll see it released sometime this July. And then we’ll get to see what exciting new innovation Scott has added to the FNAF formula!

...Hopefully it’s better than “listen to breathing and pray."
