The theme of this year is Feudal Japan, it seems. Not only has FROM announced their own oriental RPG, but we get a first-time look at gameplay for Ghost of Tsushima, the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive by developers Sucker Punch.
The trailer begins with a leisurely ride on horseback. Set during the Mongol invasion, it doesn't take long for the protagonist to run into some hostile forces. This is where we get our first taste of combat, and boy does it look good.
More than basic combat, we also see some narrative moments with a nice stealth-based candy center. Striking death from above was a particularly intense moment full of smooth animation and gameplay.
Ghost of Tsushima was announced last October, it'll be an open-world RPG.
