Fortunately and so far, the game appears to be delivering what we've been waiting for. All. These. Years. From landscapes to characters, there's much to experience and explore; of course, smaller aspects of life are also to be savored. This includes the cries of black chocobos speeding across vast plains or basking in the lush, green wilderness as sunlight tips its hat in hello. Or, in the case of bonding, jamming with your buddies to Final Fantasy tunes in your car.
...Okay, I freely admit to listening to Final Fantasy XIV tracks in my car.
Point being, there may be a cute aspect coming to Final Fantasy XV in the form of the car's radio. In an interview with Famitsu at Gamescom, Shimomura replied in response to the question of whether or not players could listen to music in the car's radio:
"I hope I could, since I love listening to music while I'm driving!"
Tabata then chimed in with:
"...music from Final Fantasy could be possible [to listen to on the car's radio], since Square Enix has the copyright."
And...
"...other music would require some meetings, but I'll bring this back home."
It would be a small, yet relished treat to include in the upcoming RPG, but hopefully, the developers won't spend an eternity with this feature--if included--because there is definitely still much more to work on, like airships and improved AI. Final Fantasy XV is expected to release sometime in 2016 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
