So, Final Fantasy XV has been a mixed bag for many. Some gamers actually liked the game (and might have preferred it over previous Final Fantasy titles), whereas others believe it to be a black mark on the series, just like Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy XIII, and Final Fantasy XIV 1.0.
And yes, people hated XII when it first released.
Anyway, I'm of the opinion that Final Fantasy XV is good. In fact, I think it's great. Is it the best title in the series? Not even in the slightest, but it's fun, despite the massive plot holes (within the initial release, anyway).
For those who are on the fence regarding purchasing the Japanese role-playing game on Windows PC, a Final Fantasy XV demo will be available on Windows 10 Store, Origin, and Steam on February 26.
The demo will feature Final Fantasy XV's first chapter, including the tutorial and opening quests.
Oh, and those who like the game and pre-order on Steam will receive a Half-Life pack. From February 22 until May 1, players will receive an in-game costume for Noctis based on Gordon Freeman and will include the HEV Suit, Scientist Glasses, and Crowbar. Furthermore, exclusive in-game items and bonuses have also been revealed for fans who pre-purchase or purchase the Windows Edition in any of the three digital stores.
