According to a new iOS App Store page for Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition, the game is expected to release on February 9. While this is for iOS, it is presumed to be coming to Android the same day.

with a cast of cute and cool characters! "
Now you can enjoy the FINAL FANTASY XV story across 10 exciting chapters
Tap to move, tap to talk, and tap to fight
Easy for anyone to pick up and play!
This low poly recreation of the popular console game will feature all 10 chapters of the original Final Fantasy XV. The app is free to download, and the first two chapters are free to play. The remaining chapters will be available for purchase. Whether it's a per-chapter or all inclusive store model or not is unknown, as well as the price.
I played though FFXV, and it was one of my favorite games of 2015. I'll most likely try out this game to see how well it measures up, even though phone RPGs hold little interest to me. Regardless of my opinions, this is a potentially great way for more casual players to try it out, or for those with long commutes and time to kill.
