Seasonal events have been a staple in video games for a while now. Mostly, though, they've really only been present in MMOs. The idea was that all of these players could band together in holiday celebration. Well, this idea of a seasonal event has been picked up by none other than Final Fantasy XV. On January 24, Square Enix launches its very first limited time event, the Moogle Chocobo Carnival.

For the duration of the event, all of Altissia will be transformed into a huge celebration. This comes with mascots, decorations, and more. Noctis can even find a couple of new costumes while there too. The changes are more than aesthetic. There are plenty of new side quests to go along with the carnival theme.

To see everything the carnival brings to the table, your best bet is to log on and see for yourself. All you have to do is grab your free Holiday Pack from the Playstation or Xbox stores. There's a special bonus for players who bought the Final Fantasy XV Season Pass. Remember, the festivities start on the 24th and won't last forever. So you may want to mark your calendars.
