So Final Fantasy XV has been highly marketed as of late. We have seen announcements for far too many spinoffs and promotional tie-ins. We have the PlayStation VR fishing title Monster of the Deep, Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition, the Regalia roaming the world of Forza Horizon 3, the atrocity that is A New Empire, A King's Tale, Brotherhood, Justice Monsters Five, and now... the Assassin's Creed Tie-In.
At this point, it shouldn't be surprising. It really shouldn't.
Nevertheless, Square Enix has introduced the Assassin's Festival. Check it out below.
Oh, did I mention it comes complete with Assassin's Creed-style gameplay? Overall, I feel conflicted. I mean, yeah, this is kind of cool to see, but at the same time... why? I know, plenty of entries have wiggled their way into the fantasy franchise. I mean, Mass Effect has been in Final Fantasy before (Final Fantasy XIII-2, to be specific).
Anyway, I should also mention that you can procure the "Master Assassin's Robes", but it can only be unlocked via the Dream Egg from the Moogle Chocobo Carnival. This will be available all throughout late September of 2017.
Oh, and the DLC is absolutely free. So that's always good!
