Want some more Final Fantasy VII Remake news?

Yes, information has been pouring into the ears and eyes of fans everywhere like a waterfall as the excitement begins to grow into hype.

(Editor's Note: Hopefully that hype delivers otherwise SE will face a lot of wrath.)

Well, Tetsuya Nomura has more to say that may just cater to your graphic tastes.

Refer to the trailer, which I will provide below:

You see, it's a gorgeous trailer. However, normally, we receive games that don't appear quite as good as their trailers. But, have you considered the alternative?

Yes, what if games appeared better than their trailers?

Hard to fathom, isn't it?

Well, Director Nomura has claimed that's not indicative of the final product--because the final product will look better. According to a Famitsu interview with Nomura:

"We're going to raise the quality even more. We're using part of that video in the game."

He could just be referring to cutscenes, but I have a feeling he could also be referring to in-engine graphics as well. The interview also refers to concerns of the remake. For example, Square Enix hopes that the FFVI will boost sales of the PlayStation 4, and that the game will be fully rebuilt from the ground up. He also added that there will be no new characters.

Hopefully this winter we will receive a deluge of mind-blowing information, but in the meantime, we'll take whatever information we can get.
