Thought it was just a few days ago that Final Fantasy IX is going to be releasing for both mobile and Steam. Since then, the Steam page for the JRPG is live, which includes information about the boosters and the specifications. First of all, there are seven boosters, including high speed and no encounter modes. There's also autosave, high-definition movies and character models galore.

And the system requirements?

Minimum:

OS: Vista /7/8/8.1/10
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz or higher
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8600GTS or ATI Radeon HD4650 or higher
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 20 GB Available Space (WHAT!?)
Sound Card: DirectSound compatible sound card (DirectX 9.0c or later)

Recommended:

OS: Windows 7/8/8.1/10 (32bit / 64bit)
Processor: Core i5 2520 2.5GHz or better
Memory: 4 GB RAM
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 20 GB Available Space
Sound Card: DirectSound Compatible Sound Card (DirectX 9.0c or later)

Maybe Final Fantasy XIV will finally take a page from Chocobo Hot and Cold this time around! Raugh!

Man, I love this title so much, though I wonder what the price point will be?

My money is on $15.
