Final Fantasy IV Advance Sails to Wii U Virtual Console... in Japan

Fingers crossed for North America!

The Wii U Virtual Console is going to gain another new game, though the progress has been a little slow to say the least. But hell, it's good to say that Final Fantasy IV Advance is heading to the Virtual Console... but here's the bad news.

It's only for Japan for now, but this could possibly be leaning toward a North American release? Maybe a European? Something? Anywhere?

A bit more about Final Fantasy IV Advance. This is a classic with additional features, portraits, extra dungeon, etc. Keep in mind that this is not Final Fantasy II, which is the North American SNES easy-type version, but instead the Game Boy Advance version, which is retranslated. Still, if you somehow still don't have the PC, PSP, Game Boy Advance, Super Nintendo, PlayStation, or DS copy, then by all means, check out the Wii U Virtual Console whenever it comes out in North America.

Still, it's pretty worth it if you're wanting to go on a nostalgia trip.
