As you may know, the Fate series have been growing in popularity in the west, especially since the debut of the mobile title, Fate/Grand Order. And Fate/Extella has been doing quite well in sales, at least in Japan. So it only makes sense that a sequel to the title would be announced... for Japan anyway.
Marvelous announced that Fate/Extella Link, a sequel to Fate/Extella, will be heading to the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on June 7, 2018 in Japan.
Even better is that characters from Fate/Grand Order, Fate/Apocrypha, and Fate/Extra will make an appearance in Fate/Extella Link, including Francis Drake, Astolfo, and Scathach. Characters returning include Nero Claudius (umu) and Tamamo no Mae.
