Fast-Paced RTS Interloper to Release in May

While many articles today have focused on the House of Wolves DLC, the PS4 trailers of Dissidia, and Mass Effect 4's character models, this article will focus on a smaller, yet mesmerizing game.

Studio Monogon Games has announced that the IGF-nominated RTS Interloper will make its way to PC, Mac, and Linux on May 21st, 2015. Interloper is an MMO RTS with an emphasis on multiplayer but in intense, bite-sized bursts.

By bite-sized, I mean the matches are 5 minutes long. You do not have to take down your opponent. Instead, you only have to claim the enemy territory to win.

But we know that won't happen. My money's on everyone focusing on killing each other. The game is a fast-paced strategy game with Chess elements, so logic and prediction will be your best friends in this game. You are only playing with the core of RTS - as in, no complicated hotkeys or abundant resources to stray the player away from the soul of strategy.
