When the Kickstarter campaign was launched, the game had only a short video showcasing some of the different landscapes. There was no interaction or movement of any characters, and the community was a little upset by this. Realizing that they needed to show some gameplay for funding, Embodied Productions quickly put their nose to the grindstone and ripped out that five minute trailer.
"We heard you, and we answered! Your feedback is very important to us at Embodied Productions, and your satisfaction is our priority. We worked nonstop these past two days to get you this as quickly as we could."
Now, the game is at an incredibly early stage and the majority of the money made from the Kickstarter is going towards hiring more staff members to get a great product out. The gameplay video will definitely help people get a better idea of what they can expect when this game launches. Embodied Productions is now on a time crunch though. Raising $545 dollars of a $10,000 dollar goal means that they need to get the ball rolling on these donations very soon. If Fan the Sea does make it through it's Kickstarter campaign, we should expect to see it around December 2017!
