The first wave of Fallout 76 BETA testing has concluded and now those lucky Xbox users have to wait. Fortunately, it won't be for very long, as the next BETA session starts this Saturday.
According to the official Fallout Twitter, Xbox One BETA players will have another opportunity to play on Saturday, October 27 from 5 PM to 7 PM. This is half as much time as the four hours provided on the first day, October 23. Those who participated in the first session will retain any progress they made.
The BETA, also known as the Break it Early Test Application, began first for Xbox One users that preordered the game. On October 30, the BETA will open up to PC and PS4 users that preordered on their respective mediums.
Since we know that PC and PS4 BETA players will have their first session on October 30, we can estimate just how often each session will take place. Should Bethesda follow the pattern established so far, we can expect another session on November 3, 4, 6, 10, 11, and possibly 13. This would be every Tuesday and Saturday until the game's formal launch on Wednesday, November 14. It's also possible that Bethesda will omit the 13th, due to proximity to the launch date. These dates are all just estimates anyway and are not official dates listed by the developers.
Try to not grow frustrated with the rather limited spans of time provided to the players during the BETA. Bethesda has explained that their goal for the event is to put as much pressure on their servers as possible, so they need to cram as many players as they can online for each session. Fallout 76 formally launches on November 14 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
UPDATE:
Bethesda has now confirmed that there will also be a session on Sunday, October 28 from 12 PM to 2 PM. The above estimation has been adjusted to include Sundays.
