You can take your boy out the Pitt, but you can't take the Pitt out the player. The folks of Appalachia are about to return to the rough and rowdy land of Pittsburgh in an upcoming game update.
Announced during the Xbox Bethesda E3 showcase, Fallout 76, the multiplayer online open world RPG, will be getting a number of updates over the next year or so. While most of what we saw pertained to Steel Reign update coming first, it also came with a teaser for something called Fallout 76: Expeditions - The Pitt.
This will be the first time that Fallout 76 players will be able to leave Appalachia. And if all the places to go, its the Pitt, the primary location to Fallout 3s second DLC expansion. In the original DLC, the story centered around posing as a slave to uncover a secret held by the local raider boss. Whether this will be the case this time is unknown.
We also noticed that the format of the name. With expeditions title before the Pitt part, were led to believe that this will be the first of multiple opportunities to visit out-of-state locations.
They didnt give a release date for the update, but they did clarify that it will be free to all 76 players. Expect it some time in 2022.
