Like any Bethesda game, the best part of Fallout 4 isn't the huge map, the freedom it provides, the intricate storyline, or even the rich cast of characters that populate the wasteland--it's the mods! PC and Xbox One gamers have been fortunate in that they've been able to manipulate the wasteland however they see fit, but that leaves poor PS4 gamers out in the cold.
Bethesda promised that PS4 mods would be coming, and last we heard from them, they were functional but extremely buggy. We were supposed to get the final version soon, but, unfortunately, perhaps because of these bugs or perhaps because of some other reason, Bethesda took to Twitter to apologize for the now-postponed PS4 mods.
While they didn't share the cause of the delay, or even a new date we can expect them to release, they do promise updates, which is... nice?
I guess I can't say I'm surprised for the delay, it sounded like the PS4 was having a time of it, but it's still sad Bethesda and Sony couldn't find some way to make it work on time. Still, better late than never, as they say, and there's no reason to half-ass what will be the main draw for some people.
I'll keep ya'll posted.
