Fall Guys is getting a mobile game, but only in China. A Chinese publisher has recently revealed promotional material for the popular battle royale platformer.
The information comes to us from Daniel Ahmad, industry analyst with Niko Partner. They found an informational page about the game and its mobile port on the Bilibili website.
Bilibili is a Chinese video sharing company at its core, but they dabble in video gaming, owning their own publisher and a number of eSports teams. The website lists Bilibili as the exclusive agent for Fall Guys (known as Jelly Bean Man there) on mobile devices in China.
So far, there has been no word of western countries like the United States getting a mobile port of the game. Being the smash success the game has become already, it makes sense to have an interest in such an idea, at least enough so to spawn a wave of inauthentic copies that hopefully trick mobile users into downloading. Developers Mediatronic went as far as to warn against these fakes just last week.
Beyond just that, the existence of a Chinese mobile port is by no means a confirmation it will release elsewhere, either. Plenty of games are made exclusively in China - for example take Fallout Shelter's lesser known sequel, Fallout Shelter Online, though our gut tells us that it might still happen, in due time.
