In anticipation and preparation for the release of Dark Souls 3's newest DLC, The Ringed City, FromSoftware is dropping a pretty large update attempting to fix bugs and balance the overall game before the DLC drops on the 28th of March. Other than fixing bugs and balancing mechanics, FromSoftware also added some new features and updated the system for The Ringed City DLC. Update 1.1 launches this Friday and will see the servers down for maintenance from 1am/3am PST.
Patch will be deployed on the 24th at:
JST - 18.00
CET - 15.00
PST - 7pm
Servers will be down on the 24th during:
JST - 17.00 to 19.00
CET - 09.00 to 11.00
PST - 1am to 3am
On top of all the changes made to the game, 2 new maps are being added to Undead Match, the Dragon Ruins, and Grand Roof. Players will also now be able to split into teams during Undead Match using a new password matching feature. PS4pro owners will also now be able to enjoy smoother frame rates. Xbox one and normal PS4 owners are sadly out of luck. Changes have also been made to poison, bleed, sharp and heavy weapon upgrades among other things. View the full list of patch notes here.
