And yes, they have swords.

Multiplayer shooters are a tried and true classic for gaming. But they seem to be lacking something. They could use something with a little more wow-factor, maybe some giant fighting robots. Why not throw some giant robot dragons in for good measure? Were in luck. Because thats what Exomecha plans to offer.

Announced during the recent Xbox Game Event live stream, Exomecha is an upcoming free-to-play first person shooter for Xbox One and the Xbox Series X. In it, technologically advanced soldiers face off against each other in a variety of natural landscapes. Fire advanced weapons and drive futuristic vehicles, all that good stuff.

Then a giant robot comes out, brandishing an equally giant sword and shield. But whats that emerging from behind the cliff? Its another giant robot, and hes here to slash the first robot a new one.

Are you not satisfied? Alright, then how about we throw in a giant metal dragon, complete with fire breath? Those are in the game too. We dont know what they do (besides look sweet), but theyre there all the same.

Exomecha will release on Xbox One and Xbox Series X in late 2021. In the meantime, you can sign up for a chance to participate in the beta of the game on the official website.
