Evil Genius 2: World Domination New Release Date Revealed

Are you ready to embrace your worst side? Evil Genius 2, the highly anticipated villainous base management game, has an official release date. And like my plans for world domination, its happening sooner than youd think.

Developers Rebellion (the people behind Sniper Elite) released a new gameplay trailer. And while we enjoyed seeing some of the mechanics put to work, the main appeal of the video was revealing a new release date.

Evil Genius 2: World Domination will release on March 30, 2021, on Steam PC.



Formally revealed at E3 2019, Evil Genius 2 is the sequel (thatd explain the 2) to a popular base management game from 2004. In it, the player is an evil genius who has to organize and operate their own secret base. You cant establish world domination without a sizable secret base after all. The player must manage their minions, organize advanced research, and prevent secret spies working for the good guys from sneaking in and revealing your plans.

Evil Genius 2 expands on the original, introducing new villains, multiple island locations, and plenty of things to build and customize within their base.

Originally, the game was marked to release some time in 2020. It was delayed into 2021, likely due to development complications relating to the COVID pandemic. Only now are we actually learning the new official release date.

Evil Genius 2: World Domination will be available on Steam PC on March 30, 2021.
