To any horror film fan, The Evil Dead is an iconic entry in the history of this genre. For those of you who love horror and also want to be thrown right in the middle of the nightmarish scenes, Boomdash Digital is bringing you an immersive horror experience.

Evil Dead: Virtual Nightmare will be a gut wrenching, adrenaline pumping horror experience guaranteed to make you want to take that VR headset off and check to see if the world around you is still real. The game will throw players right into the middle of the action in the legendary cabin and allow you to explore the surrounding forest with 360 degree sound and vision.

What might seem like just a tribute to the movie turns into a fight for your life. After finding what can only be the Necronomicon, you will be helpless in the middle of the woods trying to find a way to survive and unlocking more missions and bosses within the book. You will be put to the test with an array of weapons true to the movie and hordes of demons trying to steal your soul.

The game does not have an official release date, but keep your eyes and ears open for more details and check out the teaser trailer below.
