There's no better way to build relations with another country than making a game killing it's leaders. China's Communist Party official newspaper released a game where you shoot Japanese war criminals with a handgun - Kill the Devils.
Before you begin your propaganda journey, you must select one of fourteen Japanese war criminals. At the menu you're given insights into why said "criminal" is your current target. For example the game includes General Hideki Tojo - Japan’s prime minister throughout most of the war - who was executed in 1948 by the occupying Americans for war crimes.
Once your desired target is selected, the patriotic music chimes in and a virtual handgun in placed your hands. You are given a limited supply of bullets and gain points for accurate shots. These "shots" can certainly be taken as a metaphor with the recent series of propaganda stunts that encourages hatred towards Japan.
According to IB Times "China announced that during next week’s annual parliamentary meeting, the government will be deciding to establish two new public holidays: one which celebrates the official surrender of Japanese forces in 1945, and the other commemorating the thousands who died at the hands of the Japanese during the Nanjing Massacre."
