ESO Journey to Summerset Trailer Released

A gorgeous new expansion is coming to the world of Elder Scrolls Online. Summerset might just be the most exciting expansion to come to this game in some time, with a whole new world to discover and new enemies to encounter.

With a looming threat coming from deep within the sea, you are tasked with stopping this force before it destroys the land of the High-Elves. For the first time since 1994's The Elder Scrolls: Arena, players will get to travel to the land of Summerset to explore a new map that is bigger than any expansion in the game to date. Some villains are rumored to be returning as well to wreak havoc on the mana-rich lands.

For the first time in Elder Scrolls' history, the land of Summerset is opened to the outside world by decree of Queen Ayrenn, but could this opening of a new land introduce new evils as well?

Players will get the chance to explore all sorts of new lands, including tropical lagoons, coral caves, and ancient forests. A new guild is also available - the Psijic Order - welcoming new members to those who can find them on the island of Atraeum. They will introduce players to a new skill line and devastating abilities. In a new 12-player trial, players can travel to the highest peak of Summerset called Cloudrest and battle it out with friends. This new expansion is coming to PC May 21 and consoles June 5.
