Enter the Gungeon Announces Advanced Gungeons & Draguns, their First Free Expansion

Do you like guns? Do you need more guns? Well too bad, you get even more guns with Enter the Gungeon's upcoming free expansion: Advanced Gungeons & Draguns.

Announced on Twitter, the expansion will introduce hundreds of new rooms and dozens of new weapons, items, enemies, and so on. You'll see new synergies, better drop rates, environment interactions, and more yet said.

So far the most we know about it was stated by developer "Dodge Roll Brent," who explained a bit about their upcoming loot system.

"There's a "LOOT PROFILE" option in the gameplay options which will let you toggle Original and Gungeons & Draguns.

It doesn't change everything--all the new enemies, items, and synergies stay, so you can't go back to EXACTLY pre-AG&D, but it changes all the drop rates, etc.

That said, we genuinely think that the new loot profile is better, and if you want more challenge you should play Turbo Mode, which is a "more fun" kind of challenge to me than reduced drop rates.

The gameplay option is there in case you disagree :)"

The Advanced Gungeons and Draguns expansion will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on July 19 for free.
