Heard of Elvenar? If you haven't, let's take a moment to provide you with a bit of background on the city-building strategy-MMO. Produced by InnoGames, one of the world's leading developers and providers of online games, Elvenar is a strategy game set in an exotic world, where players must build and grow a city from sticks and stones, although not literally. Before being thrown into the world, players are first granted the choice between Humans and Elves, which influence the cities' appearances and choices in technology. Whereas Elves rely on magic to thrive, humans rely on engineering to exist. To succeed, you need to manage resources, level up buildings, and unlock new perks. Using the multiplayer map, you can chat with your neighbors, scout new provinces, and unlock powerful relics via battle with NPCs or trading. Strategic battles are in 3D, hosting 20 different monsters and unit types.

Okay, now that you're up to snuff, today, InnoGames has released information relating to the alternative playstyles. On top of choosing between Elves and Humans, players now need to select their preferred playstyle. This video here explains a bit more about the playstyles, including the pros and cons:

As you can see, you can choose between the "fight" playstyle, in which you conquer areas via conflict, and the "trade" playstyle, which is a more peaceful approach and requires a focus on manufactories. You can, of course, change your playstyle at any time.

You can play the browser-based game free of charge, though the game is in its early stages. As such, the developers would definitely love your feedback, which you can provide via their forums.
