The game we all know and some of us love is coming to the legendary lineup of PlayStation HitsEarth Defense Force 4.1: Shadow of New Despair will be joining Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, Ratchet and Clank, and more today. This release isn't just digital, for those who truly adore this classic you can pick it up physically as well, both will run you $19.99.

This new release will feature over 100 levels and as always solo, local and online co-op options. Using a vast array of vehicles and environmental destruction, players will be able to take on swarms of enemy insects that are wreaking havoc on the world. Destroying buildings and traveling across massive maps will be just a few things you'll enjoy while defending the world from the giant ant swarms.

Unlike the earlier Earth Defense Force games, 4.1 features classes that will change the way you take on the giant insects. Familiar classes that are playable include: the flying class the Air Diver, a tank class dubbed the Fencer, a support role - who's dishing out heals and shields - named the Air Raider and, lastly, the classic Ranger class for those who want to take the classic route.

Check out this and the other releases to the PlayStation Hits lineup today.
