A new IP from Burnout developer Criterion Games has just been revealed at the EA press conference. Having mostly developed racing games either in the Burnout or Need to Speed franchises (or a totally unexpected FPS back on the PS2), there were expectations their next game was a racer.

Well it kind of is... kind of isn't. The untitled game is still early in development, but you'll be driving or piloting just about any kind of vehicle... not just cars. Planes, boats, ATVs... there's no limits- almost like a first person version of the those old MX vs ATV games.

Don't expect to see the game any time soon... but cool news regardless.
