EA Announces Need for Speed Payback

Hopefully it turns out better than the 2015 Need for Speed version.

Today has been rather unexpected when it comes to video game news. Then again, we're almost in the clutches of E3 (which ends the day Stormblood begins! Excitement!). So it's probably no surprise in the end that games are being revealed left and right.

Take, for example, Need for Speed Payback.

Which has a premise that... may revolve around the concept of "payback."

Anyway, you'll have to watch this for yourself. While the trailer looks cool and carries "The Fast and the Furious" vibe, I can't help but wonder if it will end up like the 2015 version of Need for Speed... which did not do well. For me, the cringy voice acting combined with the constant night setting and confined area left me a little disappointed.

Nevertheless, what do you think of the trailer? Interesting or no?

Need for Speed Payback will launch on November 10, 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
