The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) clashed with OUYA representatives recently over its E3 car park booth. Ouya had rented out a car park close to the Los Angeles Convention Center in an effort to show off their Android console to the general public.
Angered by Ouya, the ESA parked several semi-trucks in front of them! In response, the Ouya team rented the spots in front of the ESA's trucks and used the spaces to display various Ouya banners. What else is one to do from there? Well, call the Cops it would appear!
The LAPD showed up in great style, checked Ouya's permits and all was in order!
It appears that Ouya made some new fans! So what would you have done? Should Ouya have simply paid the higher fees and setup a booth inside E3? Or simply set fire to a few E3 booths? lol
More on OUYA:
Powered by a Tegra 3 quad-core processor, Ouya packs 8GB of Flash memory, 1GB RAM, Bluetooth connectivity and an HDMI connection for hooking the system up to a TV screen. GAME recently announced that it is taking pre-orders for the console, which will retail for $99 in the US. Launch titles include Final Fantasy III, Puddle, Vector and Pinball Arcade.
