E3 Attendance up 30% From Last Year

E3 2017 was a great success, attendance wise at least.

E3 2017 is almost over and apparently, it turned out to be the biggest expo in over a decade at least. E3 2017 had approximately 68,400 attendants which is 30% more than 2016's attendance of around 50,000 according to The Entertainment Software Association. You can attribute this year's success to many attributes, but there was definitely a large spike in attendants due to the fact that this year was open to the general public and not just journalists and industry workers like usual.

15,000 passes were offered to the public this year, and they were snatched up virtually instantaneously. Whether next year will be better than this year is probably up to the number of public passes that will be made available. Until then, you might want to mark your calendar for next year's E3 and get your tickets ASAP.
