A bad day, every day.

What if Groundhog Day was a horror experience? What if they had far less time than Bill Murray had? These are the kind of questions that would lead you to 12 Minutes, the Interactive thriller coming to Xbox One and PC.

The trailer, revealed during Microsoft Xbox's E3 2019 press conference, shows the story of a man in a dire situation. He knows that his wife (might be a girlfriend) is pregnant, he knows that she got him a gift of baby clothes to tell him. He also knows that a hitman is on their way to his apartment at that very moment to kill the pregnant partner for a past crime. He knows all this because he has lived it over and over again, in 12-minute loops.

Count us as enthralled. This looks like an interesting take on a classic concept. If the gameplay holds up, this could be quite an influential experience.

No price or release date was confirmed, but it will be coming to PC and Xbox One eventually.
