Dual Universe is Making Me Fall in Love All Over Again

For better or worse.

I don't like to get my hopes up about games. I've been burned many times in the past. But I can't help but get excited about Dual Universe. You may remember that I declared it my game of E3 this year. So it's safe to say that I've been hyped about it since then. But with the latest DevDiary for Dual Universe, I've fallen in love all over again.

Remember, this is pre-alpha footage.

The game is coming along quite nicely. The building mechanic is already looking intuitive and fun. The building process appears to be extremely user friendly while still offering endless potential for hardcore users. I can definitely see this mechanic becoming a huge part of the game, especially since everything in the game can be built: including cities and space stations. And regardless, the game is so much more than that. Unlike No Man's Sky, Dual Universe will have actual multiplayer content and interaction. It will also have exploration elements. It will pretty much have it all.

I may be jumping the gun here, but I think Dual Universe is the No Man's Sky that we all actually wanted.
