Dual Gear Alpha Build Demo to Hit Steam This Month

It's really surprising to see this in only alpha.

A while ago, we talked about the tactical, turn-based mecha title Dual Gear, crafted from the inspiration known as Front Mission. Well, it turns out that the alpha build demo is on its way, heading to Steam this month, just after the game was Greenlit in a speedy nine days.

In case you're curious, Dual Gear pits players in some mechs that are very customizable. In terms of gameplay, the mechs move in real time, but at the cost of enemy attacks. However, when the player ceases motion, attack options will be available, a la turn-based. Weaponry, of course, will play an important part, as will Action Points and Generator Output. So far, it appears to be highly tactical and customizable, providing lots of opportunities. Honestly, I'm already sold, especially when you can take the mechs to sea, land, or even space.
