One of this year's most popular live streamers and recent Gaming Awards Trending Gamer award winner, DrDisrespect, has recently decided to take time off to focus on family. In an extremely heartfelt and emotional stream, he admits to his unfaithfulness and apologizes for having to take time off. He mentions in the video his "stupid f#%king mistakes" are not representative of who he is or what he represents.
Socialblade currently ranks DrDisrespect at the 16th most popular Twitch streamer today, with over 1.4 million followers and 42 million channel views. None of his sponsors, such as Razer and Asus Republic of Gaming, have commented on the recent announcement, but as of now, he still holds his sponsorship. Fortunately for him, he took his own route of admitting the truth rather than letting the media take a hold of the story - we all know of a professional golfer who made that mistake in the past. It is unfortunate as he underwent what could have been considered the top three greatest moments in a man's life. Hopefully, winning a Gaming Award falls behind having a kid and getting married, but he did the right thing in admitting this unfortunate act to all of his fans, despite it causing him to hit an all-time low. As far as his fans go, the public seems to be very respecting of his trasnparency and will most likely welcome him back with open arms when he decides to return.
