Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time is hitting all of its marks and is right on track for its release in Japan on July 29th. Square Enix, hoping to bring more light to the game, has also just released some brand new gameplay footage for the PS4 and Nintendo 3DS. You can check that out right down below whenever you're ready!

As far as a release in the West goes, it might happen. Square Enix is trying to give Dragon Quest more of a presence in Western countries, hoping that the game could eventually have a release over here. Seeing as how there might not be a Western version at all, we clearly do not have a release date. I'm really hoping we get it, as I've always been a fan of this genre. I think we need more games like this in the West, and hopefully Dragon Quest can get a spot in the stores!
