The Dynasty Warriors-esque epic title Dragon Quest Heroes is just a few days away, and with the countdown comes an adorable roster and infographic of Dragon Quest monsters. Fans can expect to see the loveable Dragon Quest monsters of slime, healslime, metal slime, and gigantes.

Within the infographic, of which you can find below, you can explore the evolution of these monsters between their 8-bit selves and their Dragon Quest Heroes' counterparts:

A bit more about Dragon Quest Heroes:

DQH is a Dynasty Warriors-type game that allows you to cleave through hundreds of enemies. Additionally and for fans, all of the legendary characters will be in the game, fully voiced, so players are able to build the ultimate team of four. This game is also strategy-oriented, so it won't be a completely mindless hack and slash experience. You can upgrade characters' unique spells and abilities so you can swap out characters in a strategic fashion. Collectable Monster Coins will also be available, which are used to summon monsters to the battlefield to aid you. Up to 24 monsters can actually join in on the battle, which is pretty cool.

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on October 13, 2015. You still have time to pre-purchase the standard version for $59.99, the Day One Edition, which includes five in-game items, for $59.99, or the Square Enix Store-Exclusive Slime Collector's Edition, which features your very own stuffed slime within a premium treasure chest-styled box, for $99.99.
