While it has already been officially confirmed that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be coming out on the Nintendo Switch, we now have a release date. Xenoverse 2 has been out since October of last year on all other platforms, but it's awesome that the game will be getting a Switch version. On top of some exclusive features, it will also be nice to take DBX2 on the go with you!
One really cool feature that the Switch will have is the use of motion controls to pull off some signature Dragon Ball Z moves. Have you ever been playing the game and wanted to go through the motions of a Kamehameha? Well, now you can do that. The screaming isn't necessary, however it is encouraged. You'll also be able to play with friends on different Nintendo Switched via ad-hoc multiplayer, or just engage in local battles using the Joy-Con controllers.
The Switch is looking for as many titles, old and new, that they can get their hands on, and this might be a big win for them. I don't think it's going to end up selling a ton, seeing as how it has been out for such a long time, but it should get them some decent numbers and keep them floating until some bigger releases start dropping! You can get Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on your Nintendo Switch starting September 22.
