The Dragon Ball franchise just keeps going and going, and it has been for a couple decades now. The franchise has a lot going for it: films, several TV adaptations, manga, and video games. Well, Dragon Ball Xenoverse has been out for a couple years now, so it was just a matter of time before a second one emerged. Bandai Namco confirmed that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is in the works and will be released in North America sometime in 2016 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

There's not much known about Xenoverse 2, but Bandai Namco has stated that the sequel will feature the largest and most detailed world ever created in the Dragon Ball universe and will include a hub city, plenty of customization, new features, and special upgrades.

"The Dragon Ball franchise is a crown jewel and a perennial fan-favorite of Bandai Namco Entertainment's robust anime video game portfolio and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will build upon that illustrious legacy. With Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, we're working diligently with the Dimps team to pull out all the stops and push the Dragon Ball video game experience to new heights."
