Starting out as nothing more than a title, new information rises regarding Dragon Ball Project Z. And now, the action RPG has an announcement trailer.

Earlier this month, Bandai Namco announced a new action RPG titled Dragon Ball Project Z. This was initially thought to be a placeholder name, but aside from the name, the only information provided at the time was that it involved Universe 11 in some way. The "action RPG" subtitle had many believing it would be something similar to Dragon Ball Xenoverse.

Now the game company has released a new trailer, showing us exactly what the is about: the story of Goku.

Releasing some time in 2019, Dragon Ball Project Z follows the story of Goku, the franchise's most popular character. The player presumably will play as Goku as he experiences the trials and challenges seen in the manga and anime.

I didn't even watch Dragon Ball Z that closely, and this is still a nostalgia trip. If they do this well, it will be a hit.
