The latest issue of V-Jump has revealed that the upcoming fighting game, Dragon Ball FighterZ, will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Japan on February 1, 2018. Costing 7,800 yen, that equals about 70 dollars.
We also learn that the characters Nappa and Captain Ginyu will be part of the playable roster. Nappa will have an attack called Kappa, and be able to summon Saibamen for help. Captain Ginyu will be able to summon The Ginyu Force and use his special to swap body (and health) with the opponent.
The Story Mode takes the player around as a spirit. This spirit links itself to the characters of the story, giving the actual player an excuse as to why your only controlling them at that moment. This will let the player experience story and gameplay from a number of perspectives. Such as Android 18 and Frieza.
There is also said to be bonds between characters that the player can develop. In doing so you will be able to hear private discussions between character about each other.
The player will have more freedom as well. They will be able to choose between battling, requiring people, training and more as they progress through the map.
In Story Mode, you will be able to freely choose whether to battle and build experience points, rescue allies, learn skills, and more while advancing on a map.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is due out in early 2018 in North America and February 2018 for Europe.
