It's not Piracy. Trust me.

So Super Mario Maker is almost out, and reviews are good so far. People are really enjoying trying their hand at this, and the community is abuzz with levels, some of which aren’t troll levels or just a bunch of phallic images drawn with blocks.

Some. Not a lot, but they’re there, I’m told.

Anyway. When you buy a boxed copy of the game, it comes with a little art book coffee-table sized thing you can use to impress your nerdy friends and make your less nerdy friends slightly uncomfortable. It’s a gorgeous piece of work, detailing the art and style of the Mario franchise to a startlingly deep degree--and if you don’t have it, you’re genuinely missing out.

Or, rather, you would be, except now Nintendo has made a PDF version free online. Check it out here. It’s all in Japanese, but if you scroll down to the big gray box near the bottom halfway down the page, with two black rectangular buttons in it, click the black rectangular button on top, next to the picture of the book, and bam--it’s all yours.

Anyway, just a friendly PSA. Check it out if you want to look at some cool Mario stuff. Otherwise, you have my permission to move on with your day.
