Dota 2 is one of the most popular MOBA's out there right now, and as far as all MOBA's go, they usually only feature a multiplayer matchmaking experience. Dota 2 however will be getting a Cooperative Campaign mode this month as part of The International Battle Pass. The campaign, titled Siltbreaker is playable with up to 4 players and it takes place in the dark place, offering a diverse landscape of loathsome monsters, cunning traps, and other lethal terrors.
Valve will be releasing the campaign to all players that purchase The International Battle Pass in two parts. The first part, Act 1: Sands Of Fate is coming later this month while Act 2: A Vault In The Deep will be coming sometime in July. Players will receive points for playing the campaign that they can use in the "Wheel of Rewards" to earn various exclusive items. While no significant details have been shared as far as available rewards, Valve did say that players will have the chance of winning an exclusive Desert Sands Baby Roshan.
The International Battle Pass also adds things such as team quests, trivia questions during queue time and bonus tokens for wagers. Check out the full breakdown for the International Battle Pass here.
