DONTNOD, the developer behind Life is Strange and Remember Me, is now apparently working on a new game. The game is presumedly named Vampyr, and unlike the previous games DONTNOD has released, this game will feature a male protagonist.
The game will be about - wait for it - a vampire! The setting? Oh just a little bit after World War I. Pretty typical setting for a vampire, huh?
Just because the setting is a bit odd, I'm already intrigued. But what of the plot?
Well, you're a vampire doctor, who has to rely on the morals of players to decide whether to save a life or feed on his patients. To add to the atmosphere of Vampyr, the tagline will be, "Take blood. Save a life."
Honestly, that tagline would be very fitting at blood drives.
Focus Home Interactive will be publishing this game. No release date has been announced, and there are no confirmed platforms for it. I guess we won't hear anything about the game until after Life is Strange is released on January 30th. I have no idea what to think of Vampyr, given the fact that it is a role-playing game set after World War I featuring a vampire doctor. I do find the concept very interesting and would like to see how the story unfolds, but I won't get my hopes up quite yet.
