Yes, while the rest of the world clamors over to Pokemon Sun and Moon, which certainly feels like the biggest Pokemon release in a long time, there's another big Pokemon game out on the market: Pokemon Go, the mobile hit that seems to become less of a hit with every passing week. And while most folks would be hard-pressed to give much attention to Pokemon Go, the folks at Niantic are certainly interested in making sure their game is remembered.

Thus, they've released an exciting new pocket-monster into the roster of catchable Pokemon: Ditto!

The tricky thing about Ditto is that it doesn't look like a Ditto: rather, it disguises itself as another Pokemon, and only reveals itself to be a Ditto after the fact. Great if you catch a boring ol' Pidgy, perhaps a bit irritating if you thought you caught that vaporeon you were looking for. But regardless, they're here now!

With Ditto in the roster, we only have the legendaries to look forward to. And Gen 2 Pokemon too, of course.
