Titled "Blast," this mode is the equivalent to team deathmatch. Split into Rebels and Imperial factions--ten on each side--scour through smaller-scale maps in an effort to defeat the opposing team. Victory is only secured if one team reaches 100 kills or after the ten-minute timer has ended.
Some planets where battles will take place are Endor, Hoth, Tatooine, and Sullust. Lighting and daylight will differ amongst modes, according to lead level designer Dennis Brannvall:
"Say you've just played Walker Assault mode on Hoth and then switched to Blast, still on Hoth-thanks to variations in lighting and time of day, you'll definitely see a difference."
Like the other game modes, you will need to choose a weapon layout most appropriate to you and the battle situation in order to survive and overthrow the opposition. Weapons will be scattered all over the map, and since there will not be any vehicles in this mode, these pickups are going to be essential for victory. These pickups won't be in excess, however, so it's important to keep that in mind.
Star Wars: Battlefront will release November 17 for the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
