Diablo III Legendary Loot for Days

If youre a fan of Diablo III (and, statistically, you very much are), you were probably excited to learn that Blizzard was going to celebrate the two-year anniversary of the games release with a 100% increase of legendary drops for a whole week something they could only really do, now that I think about it, now that the real money auction house is closed down (If they did that while the auction house was up it would have crippled the in game economy).   Point is, it was a fun little celebration and Diablo III players flocked to their computers to capitalize on what they assumed to be a once-in-a-lifetime farming opportunity.

Well yall must feel sill now!  Turns out, you didnt need to make a point to play only during that weekas in a surprising move Blizzard has announced that the legendary buff will now be permanent for all players, forever!
 

I come bearing exciting news. Due to the overwhelming popularity of our Anniversary buff we have decided to keep the increased Legendary drop rate once the Anniversary celebration ends. Once the buff is disabled tomorrow morning, you will find that the new base line drop rates for Legendary items will be the same as those you have all enjoyed for the last week.

Pretty cool reveal, wouldnt you say?  I wouldnt be surprised if the flood of people who went online to capitalize on the temporary buff is the very reason theyre making it permanentafter all, the buff was supposed to end today, and thats a lot of traffic and playtime they dont really want to lose, now is it?   Personally, I dont play Diablo III (I prefer Torchlight II since my internet isnt super-stable) but Im still pretty excited about the buff for reasons I cant really explain.  Maybe its just contagious.  Maybe the word legendary has be conditioned or something.  I might not understand, but it wont stop me from fist-pumping all day.
