As stated before, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided launches tomorrow. So, with mere hours to spare, Square Enix and Eidos-Montreal told us all about the season pass today. Basically, it comes along with the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game. Else, it can be purchased separately for $29.99. You know, typical Season Pass procedure.
Short and Sweet!
Square and Eidos revealed that two additional story missions come with the pass. The first, "System Rift," is expecting a release this Fall. The other, "A Criminal Past," is set for early 2017. Other than that, the Season Pass mainly just offers in-game goodies. These range from a new collection of lethal and non-lethal weaponry, 4 Praxis Kits (for upgrade Augments), 5000 credits, 1000 crafting parts, 5 Breach Mystery Booster Packs, and 20 Breach Chipsets. According to the released information, the chipsets and boosters are items that give players a random piece of equipment or other boon for the new "Breach" experience.
So if you've already decided that you're going to love Deus Ex: Mankind Divided enough to want a slew of DLC, then you've probably already bought the Season Pass or Digital Deluxe Edition. However, if you feel like it's ridiculous to develop DLC before the game is even launched, feel free to boycott this title.
