Square Enix is apparently big on celebrations. In the case of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, they seem to be celebrating the one month anniversary. How are they celebrating? Well, they released their first big DLC for the game, System Rift. Keep in mind, it came out on August 23. Why so soon? Probably because they expect people will buy it anyway.
The DLC looks fine. That's not the problem. The problem is that the climate for DLC is getting ridiculous. There is almost no excuse to having additional content for a game launch within a month of the game's launch. It just supports a shady precedent to pull as much money as possible from gamers.
