Worried that there won't be a Destiny 2 beta for the PC? Well, worry no more! Just expect to be a little disappointed.

The PC beta's early access period begins on August 28. Like the PlayStation 4 version, those who pre-order the full game will be able to tinker with the early access version. However, if you don't pre-order, you'll be able to participate in the beta on August 29. As for the end date? The beta will finish on August 31, unless there is an extension like we've seen for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.

Destiny 2 launches for the PC on October 24, a full month-and-a-half post-console release, which is September 6.

Additionally, we've also learned of the minimum and recommended specs for the PC launch.

For minimum specs, you'll need:

GPU: GTX 660 2GB or Radeon HD 7850 2GB
CPU: Intel Core i3-3250 or AMD FX-4350
RAM: 6GB

As for recommended:

GPU: GTX 970 or Radeon R9 390
CPU: Intel Core i5-2400 or AMD Ryzen R5 1600X
RAM: 8GB

Anyway, look forward to the beta coming next month!
